In providing an educational and work climate that is positive and discrimination-free, faculty, staff and students should be aware that racial and ethnic harassment in the workplace or the educational environment is unacceptable conduct and will not be condoned. Texas A&M University will protect the freedom of speech guaranteed by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, while at the same time will determine conduct that goes beyond the legally defined boundaries of free speech.
